Milwaukee Breakwater Lighthouse
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Built
in 1926 and automated in 1960, the Milwaukee Breakwater Lighthouse
remains one of the last examples of a fully enclosed breakwater
lighthouse on the Great Lakes. The lighthouse sits about in
the middle of the four-mile stretch of breakwater barriers that
protect the Milwaukee waterfront. The lighthouse is a white-painted
steel tower guarding the main entrace to the harbor.
The
magnet is approx. 3.5" wide by 2.5" tall, and the
photograph is printed on high quality photographic paper. It
has a full magnetic back.
