Port Washington Pierhead Light
Port Washington, Wisconsin
Originally
built in 1889, the first structure didn't make it throgh the
rough winters. This was rebuilt in 1934 during the depression
years, on a concrete base for stability and added height. It
is also in the Art Deco design, which is very unique for lighthouses.
It is automated today with a beacon light.
The
magnet is approx. 3.4" tall by 2.3" wide, and the
photograph is printed on high quality photographic paper. It
has a full magnetic back.
